All of us at Veed.me think good news should have the right company, and we can’t think of a better time to share some really big news.

We’re excited to announce that Veed.me has been acquired by Fiverr!

We’ve come a long way in the past 5 years, from our early steps as a landing page for creators looking for video gigs (just take a gander at some of these early forms), to building a two-sided marketplace of amazing clients looking to engage videographers from all over the world.

As filmmakers ourselves, our vision at Veed.me was always about providing as many videographers and animators out there a way to make a living doing what they love, while simultaneously helping companies find the talent they need.

And, we’ve enjoyed every millisecond of the journey.

But change is, as the cliche goes, inevitable. As we’ve been thinking about the future of our platform, we’ve also been trying to figure out what’s best for our community.

Fiverr is a company we’ve always looked up to. They were innovators in nailing the approach to connecting talent and those who need it through a slick product experience and the technology to drive massive demand for creative services  all around the world. So, when Micha Kaufman, Fiverr’s co-founder and CEO, told us about Fiverr’s vision of high-end services across Fiverr’s marketplace, it was apparent that there was a huge opportunity to combine forces.

Fiverr is the leading marketplace for pretty much every digital service conceivable.  It’s where nearly a million Gigs are ordered every month from world-class talent, and with new initiatives aimed at high-end customers and freelancers, it’s clearly an exciting time for Veed.me to be joining the Fiverr community.

Now, getting down to brass tacks, we’re happy to say the Veed.me journey will continue under the Fiverr umbrella. For the next few months, Veed.me will operate the same way you know it.  And, both buyers and sellers, can count on us introducing you to more exciting opportunities through Fiverr as we look at the best way to merge our communities together.

No doubt it’s quite an exciting day for us at Veed.me, but trust us when we say it’s a meaningful day for you too – our customers and creators who gave us a chance at this point or another. We’re convinced that bringing our two like-minded communities and companies together will open up untold opportunities and outcomes, and we can’t wait to get to work for all of you.

Lastly, we want to extend a massive thank you to all of you. You’ve been the biggest part of this journey thus far, and you’ll continue to be the reason we keep moving ahead. We’re always here to listen and to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Onward and upward!
